At 10.30 am, the boat shall leave from Dalyan Harbour. The first stop will be made on the Dalyan River, opposite the historic Rock Tombs for a five minute photo opportunity. Your captain will then continue with the journey on the river, passing through the wooden ‘fish gate’, whilst guests relax and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. The boat will pass Iztuzu (Turtle) Beach, as the river meets the Mediterranean Sea. Soon after, the first swimming stop at ‘Hole’ Island – a small uninhabited island, surrounded by crystal clear water. The captain will then rejoin the Dalyan River and head towards a quiet, more private beach, known locally as ‘Little Dalyan’. The town’s Dalyan name derives from the Turkish meaning for ‘fish farm’. At this peaceful area located further along the large Iztuzu Beach, a small fish farm operates, owing to the name ‘Little Dalyan’. Here, a stop for two hours. Lunch shall be served on board and guests are able to swim, walk on the beach or just relax. Following lunch, guests are taken to the Thermal ‘Magic’ Lake (Alagöl), for a thirty minute stop and further swimming. The lake is referred to as magical, due to its varying ‘magic’ water temperatures – you will experience warmer depths and cooler surface water here. The boat shall then set off again, passing Dalyan as we wind along the river to the famous Mud Baths. The mud here is said to give a more youthful appearance to those who have applied it! After one hour enjoying the mud baths, guests can take a refreshing dip at the final swimming stop, the freshwater Köyceğiz Lake. Here the captain will spend thirty minutes before making the return journey to Dalyan.
